Alex's background is as the founder and director of Make A Child Smile Uganda. He has years of experience on the ground providing support and aid to victims of child sacrifice and trafficking, and founded Safe Work Uganda out of a wish to not only aid victims of these issues, but attack the root causes of trafficking in the first place.

About Safe Work Uganda

Safe Work Uganda was founded out of the goal of removing push factors for human trafficking for Ugandan individuals. We aim to create jobs in climate-friendly industries through creative partnerships with both domestic and international social enterprises. Simultaneously, we provide training programs for trafficking survivors and at-risk individuals, so they are ready for direct entry into jobs we create.
